OSAW Industrial Products Pvt Ltd is a manufacturer of Post-Harvest Equipment in the Agriculture Sector and Science / Engineering Lab Equipment for the Education Sector. We are INDOSAW an offspring of more than century old OSAW group Estd.1919.
Indosaw came into being as an independent identity in 1993. There are more than 250 skilled technicians, engineers and managers working in the company. Mr. Nand Lal a Science teacher with a humble background had a great vision that Science Lab Equipment should be manufactured in India for Indian Schools and Colleges.On Feb 11, 1919 he embarked on his journey of manufacturing Science Lab equipment and established the OSAW brand on the auspicious day of Basant Panchmi, making his vision into reality. In 1937 he publisheda 400 pages Science Catalogue first of its kind in India. Later on, he was joined by his two sons for taking the business further. In no time OSAW became the leading company in this fieldin India.
Mr Panna Lal a science graduate established the optical division in OSAW and developed large number of successful products some of the prominent among them being Epidiascopes, Night Visions Systems( for the Millitary ) etc.
Mr. Lakshmi Sagar having done his masters in Physics from FC College Lahore established meter, electrical and electronics divisions in Osaw. He brought Ambala to a World map as a hub for exports of Science Education products. He was instrumental in OSAW being awarded multiple times by EEPC for exports. He was awarded Life time achievement award by Instrument Society of India, Bangalore.
In the late 60's the Agri division was formed in OSAW with development of equipment like Analog Grain Moisture meter and Grain Cleaning equipment. Taking the legacy from their father both sons were also continuing philanthropy work in their own way. One of the contribution to society of Mr. Panna lal was that he donated land and established Nand Lal Geeta Vidya Mandir School for the poor. Mr. Lakshmi Sagar made a great contribution to the society through various social service projects through Rotary Club. His efforts could only make possible Rotary Hospital in Ambala.
Under one roof we have the facility to develop embedded solutions, software, CAD, CAM, instrumentation etc. We strive to ensure our products are built to consistent high standards where training of our operators and assemblers is key. Our standard operating procedure is that, we produce, test, calibrate and after all the quality inspection, we go that extra mile to put our products through a soak test, subjecting them to full load conditions for long periods of time. We take pride in our R&D department constantly interacts with leading Research and Educational Institutes in India for development and upgradation of the products.
