A gold leaf electroscope is used to detect the presence of charge in electrostatics experiment. Gold leaf is attached by metal plate supported by an insulating bush with a 4mm socket. It consists of a transparent glass front window and ground glass rear window and also consists of a graduated scale ( 0° – 90°).
