U-shaped, well balanced base with heavy inclinable body. It has two spring clips, built-in condenser, disc-diaphragm. It has provision for fitting mechanical stage. Separate coarse and fine focussing is provided by rack and pinion arrangement. (Triple revolving nosepiece has accurate click stop arrangement for perfect centering and identical repeated settings).
