It is used to determine the energy value of foods & fuels. It consists of a calorimeter vessel (made of borosilicate glass) 205x100mm, height & diameter, comprising of integral water jacket and combusting chamber open at the bottom. At the top of combustion chamber a lid is provided. A heat exchanger (copper tubing) is connected and passes through the lid. The lid has holes for a wire stirrer and for inserting thermometer. It is supplied without stand, rod & supply unit.
